Target heart rate range


To get the best benefits from excerise you should try and get your heart rate
between the low and high rates for the best results. To figure this out you
have to perfrom 2 calculations. For the low end rate the formula is
220-your age X 0.6.

For the high end rate the formula is
220- your age X 0.85.

For ex a 20 year old would be as follows
220-20 = 200 X.6 = 120 Low end
220-20 = 200 X .85 = 170 high end
Therefore a 20 year old would have a target heart rate range of
between 120 and 170 beats per minute.
